Fall weather in Ouray is very unpredictable. Check the weather forecast as you are packing. Be prepared for cold, wet messy weather and warm sunny days. Layers are a must. It will be chilly in the evenings.
We will not be doing any hikes but there will be lots of opportunities to walk down some trails, walk off the road into the woods, etc. Dress appropriately. We recommend long pants, hiking boots, warm socks, Hats, & gloves.
The Ridgway/Ouray area is a beautiful place to visit. You’ll want to spend some extra time while here to drive the Million Dollar Highway to Silverton.
