On a family vacation in the 70’s, somewhere between Louisiana and the Colorado Rockies, Barry began taking photographs out of the car window. Bored, in a car traveling at 75 mph, he captured photos of basically nothing. Lots of photos.

So many photos that he promised his parents that he’d become a professional photographer one day and pay them back for all the film.

He never paid them back.

However, from that inauspicious beginning, Barry began learning photography and soon realized that he enjoyed sharing that craft with others.

Now, almost 35 years later, he coaches professional photographers on a regular basis in his role as Director of Business Development for GittingsLegal.

Barry brings his knowledge and passion to his photography workshops. With his ability to translate the technical world of photography, he helps attendees learn how best to use the equipment and photography guidelines to create better photos.
